About the artwork and sitter

Dan Brumm is the Foley Recordist, Sound Designer and Mixer for the Emmy award winning Brisbane produced children’s series Bluey. Based in West End at Folklore Sound, he can often be found at local playgrounds, creeks, beaches, and various other locations with his recording gear capturing sounds to put into Bluey episodes.

From the differing squeaks of a slide to the passing of a City Cat he records anything he can to give the show its distinctive sound and feel. Not only is he responsible for the overall sound of Bluey, but he is also the voice of Bluey and Bingo’s Uncle Stripe
